Tantra Piithas of Ananda Nagar

A Tantra Piitha is a sacred site, where realized beings sat for intense sadhana and yogic practice. Over the course of many years, Baba identified 84 ancient tantra piithas at Ananda Nagar, as well as blessing 8 new sites. A few other Tantra Piithas have been identified in other areas where Baba spend time and spoke of the power in these sites.

The Archive committee has taken on the critical work of identifying all known Tantra Piithas before information on their locations is lost in time.  Along with obtaining geo-coordinates and photos, we are recording stories from those who know of background information on them, including things Baba said regarding why he designated them as Tantra pithas.
